Oytun Orhan

Oytun Orhan is a distinguished scholar in the field of International Relations. Graduating from Gazi University, he pursued a master's degree at Hacettepe University, focusing on "Identity's Effect on Syria's Regional Policies (1946-2000)." Currently a PhD candidate at Abant Izzet Baysal University, his dissertation explores "The Contagion Effect of Syria Crisis: Comparative Analysis of Turkey and Lebanon." With extensive experience, Orhan has been a researcher at ASAM and later Levant Studies Coordinator at ORSAM. His research spans Syria, Lebanon, Israel-Palestine, Iraq, and Turkey's Middle East policy, contributing valuable insights to projects on the Syrian civil war's impact on neighboring countries, minority groups, and refugees. A regular contributor to various media outlets, Orhan is recognized for his expertise on Middle Eastern affairs.
